October 22, 1927 - November 1, 2015 Passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital, on Sunday, November 1, 2015, Charles Davis Garland of Harbour Grace, age 88 years. Predeceased by parents: James A. and Dorothy; brother: Cyril; infant brother: Max; two sisters: Frances Fielding and Phyllis Garland. Leaving to mourn, wife: May; two daughters: Pamela (Thomas) Stewart, St. Bernard’s and Glenda (Don) Coombs, Harbour Grace; two sons: Derrick (Ethel), Harbour Grace and James (Krista), Paradise; seven beautiful granddaughters: Penni, Gillian, Mallory, Paige, Courtney, Marisa and Briana; one brother: Neville (Alice), Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace on Sunday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Hr. Grace. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
