(January 29, 1945 – September 21, 2015) Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, September 21, 2015, Vincent J. Butt of Carbonear, age 70 years. Predeceased by father: Henry; parents-in-law: Isaac and Elizabeth Norman; sisters-in-law: Betty and Lorna. Leaving to mourn, wife: Iris; daughter: Lynn (Trevor) Fillier, St. Phillips; sons: Trevor, Calgary, AB and David (Melissa), Carbonear; four grandchildren: Brooke, Claire, Nolan and Mallory; mother: Sophie, Carbonear; brother: Herb (Sue), Carbonear; sister: Marilyn Butt, Paradise; brothers-in-law: Fred, Bill (Ina), John (Karen), Ike (Marina) and Lewis (Sue); sisters-in-law: Myra (Jesse, deceased) and Beverly (Calvin); also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Water Street, Carbonear. A private family inurnment to take place at the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
