Obituary of Joyce King

(February 16, 1951 – September 14, 2015) Passed peacefully away at St. John’s Long Term Care Facility, Monday, September 14, 2015, Joyce King of St. John’s, formerly of Salmon Cove, age 64 years. Predeceased by parents: Raymond and Marcella Vaters; sister: Myrtle Maloney and former husband: Melvin King. Leaving to mourn, son: Jeff (Sheena) King, St. John’s; daughter: Krista (Matthew) Hodder, St. John’s; two grandchildren: Gabriel and Morgan; brother: Raymond (Elsie) Vaters, Scarborough, ON; sister: Phyllis (Hayward) Keats, St. John’s; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, September 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, September 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in the United Cemetery, Perry’s Cove.
