Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Monday, September 7, 2015, Ethel B. (nee Tucker) Milley of Burnt Point, age 97 years. Predeceased by husband: Elijah, parents: Jordan and Gertrude Tucker and brothers: Herbert, John (Ethel), Wallace (Jessie), Reuben (Minnie), Clarence (Edith), Ephraim (Mildred), and Douglas (Stella). Leaving to mourn, son: Jeffery (Lois), Labrador City; two granddaughters: Michelle and Kayla; sister: Sadie Milley, St. John’s, sister-in-law: Mildred Tucker, special friend: Loretta Oates, also a large number of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Tuesday, 2:30 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, September 9 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Burnt Point. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice or to Memorial United Church, Burnt Point c/o treasurer, Esther Reynolds, General Delivery, Caplin Cove, NL, A0A 1R0
