Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Sunday, July 19, 2015, Stella May (Powell) Lockyer of Harbour Grace, age 81 years. Predeceased by husband: Charles; three brothers: Fred (Rose, deceased), Clyde and Wilson. Leaving to mourn, two sons: Charles (Tracey) Lockyer, Harbour Grace and Ken (Ida) Taylor, Dunville; four grandchildren: Zachary, Christopher, Candice and Jordan; one brother: Jerry (Hilda) Howell, Eastern Passage, NS; two sisters-in-law: Rose Powell and Norma Powell, both of Gander; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Monday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, July 22 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
