Passed suddenly away at his residence, Harbour Grace on Sunday, July 12, 2015, John Chesley ‘Old Dude” Parsons of Harbour Grace, age 70 years. Predeceased by grandson: Lucas, parents: John and Jessie. Leaving to mourn, wife: Philomena; one son: John (Ashleigh), Harbour Grace; three grandchildren: Keira, John and Zoey and their mother Nicole; four brothers: Forbes (Debbie), Harbour Grace, Stewart (Betty) and Dennis (Betty), both of Carbonear and Vince (Deanne), Fort MacMurray, AB ; a large number of nieces, nephews as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Tuesday, 2:30 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, July 16 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1037 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl, NL, A1N 5E9.
