Obituary of Ivy Eleanor Sutton

(April 28, 1936 – June 24, 2015) Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, Ivy Eleanor Sutton of Salmon Cove, age 79 years. Predeceased by first husband: Frank Jenkins, second husband: William Sutton, infant daughter and infant great-granddaughter: Allie. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Shirley (Jerry) Somers, Victoria and Minnie Deering, Carbonear; two sons: Vernon (Lorie) Clarke, Carbonear and Blaine Clarke, B.C.; ten grandchildren: Jeffrey, Michelle, Melissa, Janie, Amanda, Amy, Ashley, Joey, James, Michael (B.J.); eleven great-grandchildren; one brother: Vernon Rose, B.C.; four sisters: Inez Gedge, Twillingate, Minnie Sweetland, Barrie, ON, Audrey (Baxter) Butt, Carbonear and Beatrice Chambers, Barrie, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Carbonear on Thursday, 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, June 27 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. Flowers gratefully accepted.
