Obituary of Ella Morrissey

July 29, 1922 - May 16, 2015 Passed away at Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, May 16, 2015, Ella Morrissey of Harbour Grace South, age 92 years. Predeceased by: Thomas, 1944 and John, 1986. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Mary Whalen (Jim deceased) (Gus), Barbara Morrissey (Carl) and Michelle Morrissey (Leo); four sons: Patrick (Norma), Don (Jean), Tom (Brenda) and John (Karen); a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends. A special thanks to the staff of Callingwood Downs, Clarke’s Beach and to the staff of Carbonear General Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, www.cancer.ca or to the Alzheimer’s Society, www.alzheimers.ca.
