SLADE, Archibald - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, May 16, 2015, Archibald Slade of Salmon Cove, age 69 years. Predeceased by son: Paul, parents: Samuel and Beatrice, sister: Gladys, brother-in-law: Gerald. Leaving to mourn, wife: Daisy 'Babs', one son: Craig (Corrina), Ontario, three grandchildren: Cameron, Caden and Cassandra, one brother: William (Christine), Salmon Cove, two sisters: Mary Swain, Salmon Cove and Sophie (George) Earle, Carbonear, brother-in-law: Arthur Parsons, Carbonear, also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12;00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, May 20 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Riverside United Church Window Fund, P.O. Box 250, Salmon Cove, NL, A0A 3S0.
