November 4, 1932 - April 9, 2015) Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Thursday, April 9, 2015, Carrie L. Martin (nee Tucker) of Burnt Point, age 82 years. Predeceased by husband: Fred; parents: William Henry 'Harry' and Florence 'Florie' Tucker; parents-in-law: William and Jessie Martin; sisters-in-law: Louise Tucker, Mae Bowder, Daisy Locke and Betty Gill; brother-in-law: Jim McCarthy; nephews: Ralph and Freddy Evans; niece: Wanda Martin. Leaving to mourn, one brother: Albert Tucker, Lond Pond; one sister: Irene Tucker, St. John’s; brothers-in-law: George Locke, Corner Brook, Norman (Maisie) Martin, Glenburnie and Doug (Beverly) Martin, Manuels; sister-in-law: Josephine McCarthy, Burlington, ON; nieces: Juanita (Berk) Peach, Paula Hogan and Lorraine Tucker; nephews: Byron Tucker, Darryl (Stephanie) Martin and Ian Martin, all of Conception Bay South, where she resided for many years; also a number of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay with visitation on Friday, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral Service to take place on Sunday, April 12 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Burnt Point.
