BARRETT, Nellie M. - Passed peacefully away at the Pentecostal Senior Citizen’s Home, Clarke's Beach on Saturday, February 7, 2015, Nellie M. Barrett of Salmon Cove, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: William; son: Kevin; parents: John and Fannie Adey; infant brothers: Joseph and Edward; brother: Gordon, whom she was very close to and sisters: Gertrude ‘Trudy’ and Florence. Leaving to mourn, brother: Harvey, St. Catherine’s, ON; sister: Maude, Toronto, ON, also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, February 10 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Riverside United Church Perpetual Care Fund, P.O. Box 250, Salmon Cove, NL, A0A 3S0.
