HALLIDAY, Monford M. - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Saturday, January 24, 2015, Monford M. Halliday of Job's Cove, age 77 years. Predeceased by parents: William John and Bessie; brother: Robert and grandson: Gregory. Leaving to mourn, wife: Anne; three daughters: Sherry (David) Jenkins, Western Bay, Sharon (Jim) Banning, Oklahoma, USA and Rhonda (Darryl) Lockyer, Old Perlican; five grandchildren: Mark (Crystal), Adam (Amy), Jennifer, Kayla (Brodie) and Shane; three great-grandchildren: Noah, Alexander and Merriam; one brother: Roy (Carol) Halliday, Job’s Cove; sisters-in-law: Clara Healey, St. John’s, Minnie Squires and Irene Squires, both of Old Perlican; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Sunday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, January 27 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Job’s Cove.
