EMBERLEY, Evelyn L. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, Evelyn L. Emberley of Western Bay, age 102 years. Predeceased by husband, Frank, 1989. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Deanna, Western Bay and Hilda (Bob), Mississauga, ON; two sons: Edwin (Deborah) Sharpe, Goose Bay and Walter (Millie) Sharpe, Dalhousie, NB; and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, November 22 at 11:30 a.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Western Bay South. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery, Western Bay South, c/o Violet Gillingham, P.O. Box 211, Western Bay, NL, A0A 4J0.
